Christopher (Chris) Singer is a proven, dynamic leader with over 30 years of experience at NASA, providing leadership development, strategic vision, catalytic energy. His disarming personality inspires a drive for both high performance and personal growth. He is a case study in leadership growth, evolving from a hard charging (Type A) “bulldozer” to a highly regarded authentic, empowering leader, employing critical emotional intelligence skills necessary for a thriving work environment. His interpersonal style and authenticity were crucial during recovery from the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy and Constellation Program cancellation, providing the realistic-optimism, tenacity and resilience needed for success.

He is an associate AIAA fellow, and has received numerous awards including Presidential Rank Award, Distinguished Service Medal, Astronautics Engineer of the year and 2-Outstanding Leadership Medals. He also received the prestigious Silver Snoopy Award from the Astronaut Corps for his contributions to the success of human spaceflight missions.
