Dr. Angie Winter

'Successful coaching not only helps clients to achieve professional goals but also helps them to maximize their presence and connection in their personal lives as well.'
Ph.D. Sport and Exercise Psychology, Michigan State University Angie is the Director of Leadership Development at HigherEchelon. She coaches individuals, teams, and organizations to be their best on a more consistent basis. Her style is a blend of pure executive coaching where she asks empowering questions and help guide the client to their own self-discovery and performance consulting where she shares tools, skills, and strategies based on best practices of high performing individuals and teams. Her coaching is influenced by humanistic, person-centered, and cognitive psychology, as well as mindfulness, psychological skills, and the GROW model. Her goal is to help leaders to navigate whatever challenges clients are facing with a productive mindset, while also understanding the role they play in the situation, and create powerful action plans to move toward sustainable change in their lives. She believes leaders can have the success they crave at work, but also balance joy and life satisfaction. In her over 20 years of experience, she has coached C-Suite leaders, Army officers, elite athletes, new and emerging leaders. Coaching is a collaborative process where she first focus on building a strong relationship and then lean into challenging clients to strive to reach current and stretch goals. Successful coaching not only helps clients to achieve professional goals but also helps them to maximize their presence and connection in their personal lives as well. She is a big believer that we can have it all as long as we are able to be flexible and adaptable in how priorities change. She holds a master’s and Ph.D. in Sport and Performance Psychology and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF-ACC) and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (CMPC- AASP). She is also Prosci Change Management certified, Adaptability Quotient Level II certified, Harvard Negotiations certified, and the Five Behaviors of a Team and DiSC certified. Coaching is a journey, but one that ultimately pays dividends by improving performance, reducing stress, and creating greater life satisfaction and enjoyment.
