Gene Benson III serves as the Vice President of Cyber Solutions at HigherEchelon, Inc., where he is responsible for overseeing technology and training initiatives supporting the U.S. Army Cyber School and Signal School. Prior to joining HigherEchelon, Gene built a distinguished career supporting government and commercial clients across a wide range of operational, technical, and strategic leadership roles. With more than 30 years of experience, including multiple deployments, he developed deep expertise in cyber operations, mission command, and enterprise technology delivery. His background includes senior positions such as Program Manager for the Mission Command Arts and Sciences Program at Fort Gordon, as well as earlier service as an M1A1 Abrams Tank Commander, providing him with a strong operational foundation and technical credibility.
