HigherEchelon provides support to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Office of Employee Development and Training (EDT). We provide performance and leadership training and coaching in support of FBA's national Executive Leadership Coaching and Training Program. Our program provides group training and individualized coaching sessions to support the MyVA transformation initiative. We also provide training for Staff, Regional, and District Offices on leadership development, strategic planning, and workforce development.
There are great benefits to Women Veterans and the taxpayer by increasing the number of women Veterans who enroll and utilize VA women’s health services in a timely manner. Timely enrollment and utilization of VA’s mental health services can prevent suicide and other mental health sequelae resulting from undiagnosed and treatment of depression and PTSD.
HigherEchelon prepares General Officers and their spouses to transition from executive military service to the civilian workforce in accordance with the Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) Act and other related directives and policies. Our curriculum and instructional design is based on principles of executive education using adult learning models and challenging experiential education. Through collaboration with industry HigherEchelon provides challenging exercises in breakout groups and reflection opportunities for the transitioning generals develop the products and skills they need to reenter the civilian workforce. We focus on pre-separation counseling, individual transition planning, resume preparation, networking preparation, and individual employment assistance.
