Matt Schoenfeldt serves as Vice President of Training Growth at HigherEchelon, Inc., leading business development and capture efforts for the company’s Training Division, which includes Human Capital Solutions, Cyber Training, and Gaming support.
In this role, Matt drives the division’s expansion through a robust pipeline of opportunities across government vehicles. He mentors HigherEchelon’s SDVOSB protégé joint venture, HigherParallel, building its capacity, securing key contract vehicles, and positioning it for success in both set-aside and unrestricted competitions.
Previously, as Director of Human Capital Solutions, Matt rapidly scaled the segment, securing and transitioning major contracts in support of Army resilience, holistic health and fitness, and performance coaching programs. He has led numerous successful proposal efforts, consistently delivering high-quality solutions to government clients.
Before joining HigherEchelon, Matt served as a Technical Writer and Proposal Manager, contributing to large-scale contract wins and expansions in public safety services.
Matt brings a wealth of strategic and operational leadership from a distinguished U.S. Army career, including Pentagon assignments on the Joint Staff where he authored influential warfighting concepts that shaped force modernization, enterprise talent management system design, theater-level targeting, large-scale recruiting operations, and garrison management. A decorated veteran with decorations including the Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device, Legion of Merit, and Purple Heart, he holds an active TS/SCI clearance.
