Army Strategic Education Program – Transition (ASEP-T)

What is Army Strategic Education Program – Transition course?

Service members are required to attend a career transition course in accordance with the Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) Act, Department of Defense Directives and Army Regulations. Separating Army General Officers require a transition program that not only meets relevant laws and policies, but that addresses transition at a senior executive level. The Army’s standard course for the transitioning personnel is the SFL-TAP program. However, due to the relatively low number of transitioning General Officers, the high demand on their time, their senior professional level and their geographic dispersion, a unique transition course was developed to meet their needs and requirements.
